Available in 3 cubic feet bags & bulk:

Three certifications for safe play.

Standard Specification for Impact Attenuation of Surfacing Materials within the Use Zone of Playground Equipment

The purpose of this specification is to establish minimum impact attenuation requirements for playground surfaces to reduce the risk of severe injury from falls, specifically regarding severe head injury. This is most commonly referred to as an impact test.

ASTM F1292 »

Standard Specification for Engineered Wood Fiber for Use as a Playground Safety Surface Under and Around Playground Equipment

The performance requirements to receive this certification includes Section 7 sieve test analysis, Section 8 hazardous metal test (for antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, and selenium) and Section 9.5 Non-Magnetic Tramp Metal. In other words, our playground chips meet all standards for particle size, consistency, purity, and ability to drain.

ASTM F2075 »

Standard Specification for Determination of Accessibility of Surface Systems Under and Around Playground Equipment

This specification establishes uniform means to measure the characteristics of the applied playground surfacing in relation to accessibility. Our Playground Chips meet wheelchair work measurement standards.
